Woman Caught Urinating In Her In-Laws' Tea

A woman has been caught urinating in her in-laws' cuppa - and admitted she'd done the same every day for a year.

Rekha Nagvanshi, 30, was squatting over the teapot when her mum-in-law walked into the kitchen and spotted her.

Rekha was unhappy with her arranged marriage to Deepak, 34, and stormed out of the marital home in the district of Indore in central India's Madhya Pradesh State, saying she would rather live with her parents.

Her friend Alia Kohli, 32, said: "She said her husband treated her like a slave and eventually she decided she’d had enough.

"But after moving out, he begged her to go back for the sake of their four-year-old daughter."

Rekha agreed on the condition that Deepak would do the cooking and washing up, and also massage her feet.

His parents, Suraj, 60, and her husband Ajith, 55, discovered the arrangement and attempted to put a stop to it.

Pal Kohli said: "Rekha is strong-minded and likes to be independent and the thought of being dictated to by his parents was just too much for her.

"So I guess that’s when she decided to start doing what she did, and urinating in their tea."

Disgusted mum-in-law Suraj said: "We used to go and visit them once or twice a week.

"And although we knew she didn’t like us we had no idea she was doing this.

"She always smiled and offered us tea and we accepted.

"But one day I went into the kitchen and found her urinating into the teapot."

After going to the police and being told it was not a case for them, the horrified parents-in-law decided to take out a private prosecution.

Suraj said: "You cannot urinate into someone’s tea for a year and get away with it.

"We want justice."

Rekha and Deepak are now understood to be living apart.
