Man Caught 'Smuggling Cocaine In His Underpants

An airline passenger was discovered with a pound of cocaine in his underwear after customs officers noticed a bulge in his trousers, according to authorities.
Romario Lewis, from Jamaica, was told to drop his trousers after being stopped and searched by US Customs and Border Protection officers at JFK Airport, New York.

The agents took the action after noticing a suspicious bulge in his trousers.
According to the authority, they found two packages of cocaine, weighing almost half a kilo and worth a reported $19,000 (£12,500), concealed in his underwear.
Lewis had flown in to the Queens airport on an April 16 flight.
The agency said he appeared nervous when officers searched his bags.
He was arrested and turned over to the Homeland Security Investigations. He is now facing federal narcotics smuggling charges, reports the New York Daily News.
