Jay Leno Supports Cosby's Accusers

Jay Leno & Cosby

US TV star Jay Leno has supported the women who have accused comedian Bill Cosby of sexually assaulting him. The former Tonight Show host was asked at the recent National Association of Television Program Executives conference about his views on the Cosby situation.

According to Mail Online, he said: "I don't know why it's so hard to believe women. I mean, you go to Saudi Arabia and you need two women to testify against a man; here you need 25. More than a dozen women have come forward over the past three months to accuse Cosby of sexually assaulting them but many of the alleged crimes are decades old - meaning Cosby will never have to go to court.
Cosby has denied the assaults and his wife Camille is standing by him. She said: "The man I met, and fell in love with, and whom I continue to love, is the man you all knew through his work. "He is a kind man, a generous man, a funny man, and a wonderful husband, father and friend. He is the man you thought you knew." "A different man has been portrayed in the media over the last two months. It is the portrait of a man I do not know."
