A woman has been arrested after vile hidden camera footage allegedly shows a student spitting in her flatmate's food in their shared kitchen.
In the shocking footage, the blonde housemate can clearly be seen standing with the fridge door open as she spits and reportedly pours cleaning fluid into various containers of food.
The girl is understood to have had a strained relationship with her fellow University of South Carolina student housemates.
Hayley King, 22, has been arrested and charged with unlawful, malicious tampering with human drug product or food.
And Fox59 reports police said girls had "multiple altercations leading up to the incident."
When things got so bad, the unnamed women asked her to leave, they set up hidden cameras around the flat in the fear that she would retaliate spitefully.
The girls were horrified to view the footage - with one even coming to the disgusting realisation that she had eaten the contaminated food.
After the footage was shown to local police, Hayley was arrested her charges carry a term of up to 20 years, if convicted.
She allegedly admitted the offences to police and is due to appear in court this month.
