A drug-dealing gang tried to smuggle 200kgs of cocaine worth at least £15 million into Spain by hiding it inside hollowed-out pineapples.
The significant haul arrived at Algeciras, one of Spain and Europe's largest ports, in 10 shipping containers on a vessel from Central America.

Police made the bizarre discovery after receiving a tip-off.
In a statement, Spain's interior ministry said the flesh had been scooped out of several pineapples, which had been cut in half, with just the outer shell remaining.
The flesh was replaced with cocaine, which had been wrapped in containers and coated with yellow wax to resemble pineapple flesh, the ministry said.
Smugglers had then stuck the two halves back together.

Police had the arduous task of sifting through thousands of pineapples to find those with the Class A drugs hidden inside.
They uncovered 200kgs of high-purity cocaine, which would have likely had a street value of at least £15m.
According to reports in Spain, the pineapples were on their way to two companies - one in Madrid and the other in Sant Quirze del Valles, near Barcelona.
Both companies are said to be run by Colombian-born Spanish citizens.

A police spokesman said they had arrested three people in connection with the discovery and would not rule out further arrests.
It is not the first time criminals have attempted to smuggle illegal substances via 'creative' means.
Earlier this year, a gang attempted to smuggle cocaine into France by hiding it in sausage sandwiches.
Weeks later, a woman at a Spanish airport was caught concealing drugs in her hair extensions.
