Dentist Who Filmed Women In Toilet Struck Off

A sleazy dentist has been struck off for using his iPhone to film women using the toilet at his surgery after becoming hooked on internet porn.
Daniel Stocks, 37, claims he got the idea to hide his smart phone in the bathroom of his Always Smiling surgery, in Throckley, Newcastle, while browsing smut online.

The married father-of-three then made disgusting videos of eight women at his practice and another property by pointing his mobile at the toilets and setting it to record.
Stocks previously pleaded guilty to eight charges of voyeurism but he was spared prison despite a judge branding the offences a “monstrous breach of trust”.
As he was given a community order, the court heard all of the victims were left feeling horrified, violated and disgusted by what happened to them.

One woman, 33, said in a statement to the court: “I’m horrified and outraged by what he has done, it was a real shock to be shown the image by the police. It’s horrendous, I feel exposed, vulnerable and violated by his actions.
“Thoughts went through my mind about what could have happened when sitting in the dentists chair.”
Another woman, 34, said: “It was a total violation of my privacy. Knowing he videoed my private parts is utterly despicable, deceitful and dishonest.”
Stocks’ dirty secret was revealed when a woman using the toilet at his surgery last November noticed a light shining through a paper towel under the sink.

Neil Pallister, prosecuting, said: “After using the toilet she looked and could see it was an iPhone in the paper towel on a waste pipe under the sink.”
The woman raised the alarm and, not realising he was the perpetrator, she handed the device to Stocks.
That night, in an effort to cover his tracks, he went to the MetroCentre to buy an identical phone.
The next day, when the woman who found it said she wanted to call the police, he told her the images had been deleted and handed over the new phone.
However when police went to his home they found computer hard drives with two video clips of women using the toilet.
He was struck off the General Dental Council at a hearing on Friday. He has 28 days to appeal the decision.
