Teacher Faces Sack After He Allowed Students Have Sex In Cupboard

A teacher accused of allowing students to have sex in a classroom storage cupboard is set to be sacked after a tribunal recommended he should lose his job.
The hearing on Friday was told Quinton Wright, 25, admitted to police that he let students use the closet, specifically for the purpose of having sex.

It is expected the school board will sign off on the tribunal's findings at a meeting next week - meaning the maths and science teacher will be fired from his job.
He is also facing criminal charges.
The tribunal heard police interviewed a dozen students from Champion Middle School, in Dekalb County, Georgia, where Wright was also a sports coach.
A lawyer for the school said Wright had facilitated sex 'hook-ups' for students on multiple occasions over the past academic year, reports WSBTV.com

Under questioning from DeKalb County School District Attorney Michael Walker, Detective Kenneth Bradshaw said Wright had admitted allowing students to use one, or possibly two, storage closets for sex.
He told the hearing Wright had spoken candidly about co-ordinating the hook-ups and helping students so that other teachers would not catch them in the act.
Detective Bradshaw said the teacher had also provided youngsters with condoms.
A parent, who wishes to remain anonymous, told the tribunal that she had trusted Wright enough to allow him to drive her teenage son to school.
However, she found text messages on her son's phone in which the 14-year-old was seemingly 'reserving' a room through the teacher for sex with a female student.
She told the hearing: “My son asked Coach Wright if they could utilise his room and Coach Wright said 'Yes, between 7.30 and 8:30am.'"
The board is expected to sign off on the tribunal’s findings next week.
Although Wright is criminally charged, he is currently free on bond.
