FKA Twigs Opens Up About Struggle Of Dating Pattinson

FKA Twigs enjoyed some downtime in New York after opening up about the struggles of dating heartthrob Robert Pattinson. 

The singer dressed in a flimsy white dress as she casually chatted on the phone while wandering around the streets of the city.

FKA, real name Tahliah Debrett Barnett, failed to raise a smile despite flashing her massive sparkler on THAT finger as she stepped out for a spot of lunch.

The Brit beauty first gave fans a glimpse of the bling, which it is reported could be worth up to £65,000, at the Met Gala earlier this month.

FKA looked intent as she chatted on the phone, giving her floaty dress an edge with some chunky black boots.

She showed off her trim arms and legs in the summery ensemble and kept her accessories super simple.

The star was later joined by her hunky beau R-Patz, who looked similarly casual in a pair of blue trousers, white T-shirt and dark bomber jacket.

He must have missed the summery memo, choosing to keep his heads covered in a thick hat.

Both of the stars looked less than impressed with the attention - and FKA has explained why.

It comes after the singer explained it could be "really hard" to live in the spotlight with the Twilight hunk, especially with the abuse she receives on Twitter.

She told the New York Times: "It’s really hard - I can’t begin to explain how awful it is.

“It makes you want to just stop everything sometimes. It makes you want to smash your face into the mirror... It's relentless."

The star was quick to point out that the attention they get as a couple make it harder for her as a performer in her own right.

She added: "There’s no amount of songs I can sing or dances I can dance that will prove to them I’m not a monkey.”

However, FKA insisted despite the unexpected direction her life has taken, "it's worth it" when the positives outweigh the negatives.

She said: "I didn't see my life going this way at all. But it's worth it. I'm so happy."
