The family of a murdered young woman were horrified to see one of her killers starring on Romania's Got Talent - as they didn't even know he'd been released from prison.
In December 2003 Grigoriu and his friend Constantin "Bebe" Lungu, now 32, stabbed neighbour Utik and cut her throat in front of her apartment building after she refused to lend them her 200 EUR savings.

The court at the time heard that the pair knew the young woman was saving up and had been furious when she refused to give them a loan of the money.
Lungu, who had previously borrowed some money from her and not paid it back, stabbed her with the help of Grigoriu, then 19, who had held onto her to stop her running off.
The pair had then dumped the badly injured woman on the ground with her throat slashed open, leaving her to die alone.
Grigoriu admitted that he had been released from prison to TV officials when he was interviewed for a place in the show, but said he had been convicted for helping to cover up for a friend who had carried out the murder.
He was released on parole four months ago after serving over 11 years of his 16 year sentence.
Romania's Got Talent jury member Mihaela Radulescu, 46, better known as the girlfriend of Austrian stuntman Felix Baumgartner, said: "Seeing this moment, I would have forgiven you all your sins. I was impressed that you thanked so kindly the person who stood beside you all these years."
But murdered Monika’s mother Irma Uto was outraged that Grigoriu was showcased on national television.
She said: "When Mihaela Radulescu said she could forgive all his sins, I felt as if my world had collapsed.

I started shouting at the television, and all the worst moments of the nightmare that destroyed my life 12-years-ago resurfaced.
If I had been there I would have told everyone who he is and what he did. He’s the man who killed my daughter."
She added: "I didn’t know he was free. What he did was premeditated murder as the pair of them had planned everything in advance, they wanted my daughter’s money because they knew she was saving.
Police found their DNA under my daughter’s fingernails. She tried to scratch them so she could defend herself but there were two of them and she didn't stand a chance."
After being released from prison Grigoriu managed to get work in a tattoo parlor and paints for a living.
