Man, 28, Assaulted His 93-Year-Old Girlfriend

Man, 28,
A 28-year-old man has been charged with assaulting his 93-year-old live-in girlfriend, but she is adamant the pair only have a working relationship.

According to a police report, Thomas Standley and the pensioner live together in Memphis, Tennessee, and are in a relationship.

But the elderly woman has denied the two are romantically linked, telling local media, "I'm 93 and he's 28. That doesn't go together."

The pensioner said Standley stays with her and works as her carer, feeding her meals and ensuring she takes her medication.

She added: "It was no love, no sex, no nothing. It was just work."

Her daughter, Patricia Haynes, who lives next door, told police that Standley grabbed her mother's neck and was "violent" with her.

Ms Haynes said she heard her mother screaming, "let go of me, you're hurting me".

And when she checked on her, she claims Standley pushed her out the door.

According to the police report, Standley choked the pensioner, grabbed and squeezed her arms, and shook her.

The incident allegedly happened after the pensioner refused to take her medication.
Standley has been charged with domestic assault and is due to re-appear in court today.

This guy must be a 'Gold Digger'
