A man is facing criminal charges after flying into a violent rage - because he was unhappy with his new haircut.
Police say 47-year-old Alan Becker was not impressed with his new do, and became even more angry when told the trim was going to cost him $50 - around £32.50.
Police Sgt Kelly Connelly said Becker kicked a hole in the wall of the salon in Connecticut, and was rude to rude to saff and customers.
He then threw a candle display and a number of other items around the barbers before leaving.
Sgt Kelly told the Hartford Courant: "He was just very irate about his haircut."
"He did not like the way that it was cut."
He later returned and demanded that hairdressers "fix" his new look, but the salon refused.
He has since been arrested at his home in Stamford on charges of breach of the peace and criminal mischief.
