There is no stopping Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, as they are moving on from the Hollywood elite to hanging out with royalty as they met with Prince William andKate Middleton.
On Friday, the Hollywood stars met with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge at their home at Kensington Palace.
The two couples, who were meeting for the first time, met to talk about a subject close to their hearts.
“They discussed their shared interest in combating the illegal wildlife trade,” a spokesperson for Clarence House told Mirror Celeb.
The private meeting had been booked in the diary for some time, and it is unclear what the partnership between the couples is going forward.
There will be “no further comment at this time”, the spokesperson said.
Meanwhile an insider told Us Weekly that the two couples got on like a house on fire after their meeting at around 3:45 on Friday.
“Everyone got on splendidly,” said the source.
“Brad and Angelina spent much longer with the Duke and Duchess than planned. They ended up staying for almost a few hours.”
“They discussed their shared interest in combatting the illegal wildlife trade,” the insider added.
Angelina, 40, had been in London earlier this week to attend a lunch at the Foreign & Commonwealth Office as she continues to campaign to end sexual violence in war zones.
It was reported that the Maleficent star, and her husband Brad, 51, were “really excited” ahead of the afternoon tea meeting with Wills and Kate, who they met alone.
It was previously claimed that two-year-old Prince George was also at the meeting, while the six Jolie-Pitt kids missed out on the meeting, as did Princess Charlotte.
