Bruce Jenner will not be dressed as a woman during his two hour ‘sex change’ interview with Diane Swayer.
The 65-year-old, who will be using the show to say goodbye to Bruce, will however be presenting his female self.
The hotly-anticipated show focuses instead on his mental state and journey, according to TMZ.
The website reports that Bruce, who did a number of interviews for the special, begins his story at the age of five.
It also reports that he will discuss the difficulty he has had living in the wrong body as well as the affect it will have on his family.
A source told them that the best bits of the special are when the reality star discusses the “mundane things” that will change for him on a day to day basis.
The show has been confirmed to air on April 24.
It has also been reported that Jenner will come out as transgender in the season finale of Keeping Up With the Kardashians of May 31.
The show will air on the E! network in the US, home of all the Kardashian television properties, and Variety reports the network will be working closely with LGBT group GLAAD to ensure the subject is dealt with sensitively.
It was previously claimed by HollywoodLife that the show will either be called Trans-Jenner or Bruce Jenner: My Journey.
