Frank Lampard and fiancée Christine Bleakley look mad about Manhattan after viewing this luxury apartment.
The New York City star, 36, smiled broadly as he clutched the floorplan for the flat with a monthly rent which, at $95,000 – or £64,000 – could buy him a house outright in some parts of Britain.
Lamps, currently on loan at Manchester City , is due to move to the US to join New York City FC in July, and he would certainly be comfortable in his new home.
Measuring 9,000sq ft inside, with 5,300sq ft of outdoor terraces, it’s nearly a quarter of the size of an international football pitch.
And its prime location in the sought-after West Village means his neighbours will include A-list film stars Daniel Radcliffe, Hugh Jackman and Julianne Moore.
A source said: “It’s an incredible place and he will have great company if he gets the keys.
It’s taken a long time to make the move but he’s finally starting to make plans to leave the UK.”
The midfielder signed with New York City FC last summer but had a delayed start after joining Manchester City on loan to help Manuel Pellegrini push for the Premier League title.
His move looks one step closer now that he and TV presenter Christine , 36, have found this flat. It’s all set for them to move straight in – they just need to bring some Lamps...
